EFI Authorization Codes
Why do I need to do this?
In order to purchase an EFI Live Vin License, EFI Live requires the serial number of your device and authorization codes. In order to use an Autocal Device to apply custom tuning, it must be linked to the new tuning company you are receiving tune files from.
Please note: If you are using an Autocal that has been previously linked or used by a different tune provider, you will need to request unlink codes and unlink the device from that tuning company before adding the new tuning onto your device.
Generating an EFI Authorization Code
Step 1: Open Up EFI Live & left click on "Check Firmware (button)" in "EFILive Scan and Tune".
Step 2: Left click on "OK (button)" in "Update Firmware and Configuration Files". Update firmware if it is out of date.
Step 3: Left click on "F7: Licenses (button)" in "EFILive Scan and Tune".
Step 4: Left click on "FlashScan and AutoCal Licensing (window" in "Flashscan and AutoCal Licensing". Left click on F3 VINS
Step 5: Left click on "Generate Auth Code (button)" in "FlashScan and AutoCal Licensing". Make sure your device shows that more VIN licenses may be purchased.
Once you see the code, make sure to write it down or copy and paste it into an email and send it to us!
