This Titanium Signature Series 165 Gallon Per Hour Lift Pump by Fass Fuel Systems is the first upgrade we recommend doing to any Duramax that comes through our shop. The Duramax, unlike other diesel trucks, does not come with a lift pump from the factory. They're designed to use the CP3/CP4 injection pump to pull fuel under a vacuum, not only does this put additional stress on your injection pump it also runs the risk of having air added to your fuel.
Adding a FASS system will pump the fuel to your CP3 reducing the stress on your injection pump and feeding it better quality fuel will increase the life of almost all the components in your fuel system.
FASS has taken the time to perfect its System before letting it hit the market and because of this, they have less than a 2% failure rating with its motor and a design that implements unique design features you can only get with Fass Diesel Fuel Systems.

Notes
We highlyrecommend adding Bulkhead & Suction Tube Kit when purchasing a Fass System. It allows your pump to pull more fuel and gives it a convenient return option.
FASS Whisper Technology (FWT) was engineered to meet the stringent demands of today’s quiet diesel engines. FASS Whisper Technology was in development and testing for over two and a half years to meet FASS Fuel System’s high quality and durability standards. FASS Whisper Technology effectively and drastically reduces the sound levels of the Signature Series FASS Diesel Fuel System to a “whisper” while at the same time increasing fuel flow rates. Our competition reduces noise levels by reducing flow rates
Bolt-On Bracket Mounts old mounting styles required drilling or welding when mounting your new pump. This has now been simplified with our new bolt-on brackets that utilize your factory bed bolt, the bolt that secures your truck bed to your frame. Mounting your Titanium Series lift pump takes only minutes and all brackets are made from machined steel for superior support and strength.
The FASS Fuel Systems are important for both daily drivers and high-performance applications when looking to improve engine operation. The added filtration with the removal of air/vapor will greatly enhance the life of your fuel injection system along with improving the horsepower/idle quality/throttle response/fuel economy/lower EGT’s & extreme cold weather operations if equipped with FASS fuel heating options.
Performance Radius Cuts (PRC) are an advanced machining technique used to improve the flow of fuel through the FASS System by creating smooth-flowing cuts within the aluminum housing. This prevents the reintroduction of air and vapor back into the fuel and prevents eddy currents from forming within the corner of a 90° sharp angle. FASS Titanium Signature Fuel Systems are the only Fuel Air Separation System that incorporates these exclusive Performance Radius Cuts, lesser competitors commonly use T-Bone and square 90° fittings that can limit fuel flow, cause restrictions and reintroduce air back into your fuel.
